IND Vs AUS T20I Series 2023 : Indian Squad Announced for T20I Against Australia

It was just 3 days ago when a big heartbreak took place at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Mighty Australians defeated the Men in Blue in the Final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. The Indian Cricket fans were very disappointed after the demise of the Indian team in the World Cup Final. The Board of Control for Crickеt in India (BCCI) shared the squad of the Indian team that will lock horns against the Mighty Australians in the T20I. The Series will contain 5 T20I Matches and will start on Thursday i.e. 23rd Nov 2023. The First Match of the Series will take place at Visakhapatnam.

Suryakumar Yadav has been given responsibility to lead the Indian team in this series. All the Senior Players have been given rest who played at ICC World Cup. Apart from Suryakumar, Ishan Kishan, and Prasidh Krishna, all the members of the World Cup Squad were given rest. Shreyas Iyer will be available to the Squad after the 3rd T20I Match. In the Absence of Shreyas Iyer, Ruturaj Gaikwad has been given the role of Vice Captain. Axar Patel has also been added to the Squad in the T20I Series against Australia. Axar Patel got injured 2 months ago at the Asia Cup and was also out from the World Cup Squad.

These are the 15-member squad that will face Australia in the home T20I Series. The Tenure of Rahul Dravid as Head Coach of the Indian Cricket team has been over and the BCCI has to take a call on it. Former Legend Indian Batsman VVS Laxman will look after the team in the absence of Rahul Dravid.
